Though roles he was cast in frequently took advantage of his burly build - for example, his portrayal of Little John in the 1996 picture "Robin of Locksley" and his portrayal of the late John Belushi in the television movie "Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Mork & Mindy" - he also demonstrated an adeptness for sinking into "everyman" roles -- such as his slicked-back fighter pilot Briggs Lowry in Tony Bill's period epic "Flyboys."

Labine also had supporting roles in the series "That Was Then" and the series "Invasion," as well as in the hit legal dramedy "Boston Legal," as an assistant district attorney. Today he is probably best known in the role of Bert 'Sock' Wysocki, in all thirty-one episodes of the quirky supernatural series "Reaper," opposite Ray Wise.

During his down time, the Los Angeles-based actor joins his brother and his best friend in the hip hop band, Figures of Speech. Also an avid snowboarder, Labine enjoys the resorts of Whistler/Blackcomb and likes to spend time at his family cottage in Ontario.
